Amanda Katili Niode is an Indonesian memoirist, columnist, editor and Earth Harmony Advocate whose work explores the connections between people, culture, food and the environment. Her career spans climate communication, sustainability transformation and environmental management, and she has played a leading role in advancing public engagement on climate and sustainability in Indonesia and internationally. She is Director of The Climate Project Indonesia and has represented Indonesia in global climate forums for almost two decades. She is the author of In the Embrace of Time: Memoir of an Earth Harmony Advocate, editor of 200 Voices for the Earth: Stories, Art, and Reflections Across Generations, and a contributor to numerous books and anthologies on climate, sustainability, food, tourism and culture. Amanda received her PhD from the School of Environment and Sustainability, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
