Gede Indra Pramana is an Indonesian researcher and lecturer at the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Udayana, Bali. With over nine years of experience, his work focuses on the intersection of political economy and the dynamic relationship between the state and society. Indra's thesis explored the complex interrelationship between memory, histories of violence, and survival strategies among survivor families in eastern Bali, utilizing fieldwork and archival research to examine how these communities navigate their past. His research extends to social movements, resource governance, civil society, and the impact of platformization and datafication on the gig economy. His latest project analyzes the nexus of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and commons governance, assessing their effects on the everyday lives of ordinary people within the Global South context. His work has appeared in several academic journals, including Jurnal Penelitian Politik and Politik Indonesia: Indonesian Political Science Review. In addition to his academic pursuits, Indra co-founded Prakerti Collective Intelligence in 2018, an organization focused on transforming workers' livelihoods.
