Giovanna Aryafara is a Bali-based professional photographer from Australia with a career spanning over 40 years. Aryafara’s work has been showcased globally, including at the Africa Photo Festival in New York and the Atlas of Humanity in Paris and Milan. In 2020, she won the Africa in Focus Photo Competition for her portrayal of People / Cultures & Communities of Africa. Her photography has also been featured in National Geographic and Conde Nast Traveller Magazine. Giovanna owns Bungalow Living Bali, a store and gallery that merges her passions for photography, art, and tribal crafts. She travels annually to India and Ethiopia and actively supports human rights organizations such as Survival International.
