Janet Steele

Janet Steele is a professor of journalism at George Washington University and the Director of the Sigur Center for Asian Studies. She regularly visits Southeast Asia and has authored many books and articles on journalism theory and practice. Her latest book is titled Malaysiakini and the Power of Independent Media in Malaysia.
